The Meta Horizon Billing Compatibility SDK is designed to facilitate the porting of Android applications that utilize Google's Play Service Billing Library for In-App Purchasing and Subscriptions to the Quest ecosystem. This library aims to simplify the process with minimal changes required, while supporting consumable, durable, and subscription in-app purchases (IAP). The SDK is compatible with Google Play Billing Library version 7.0.

2.0.0 Release Notes

  • Depends on iap-kotlin 0.2.0 and core-kotlin 0.2.0 Horizon Platform SDKs.
  • Includes a fix for the issue where querying purchases of subscriptions with a single billing plan via queryPurchasesAsync would yield empty results. The fix depends on Meta Horizon OS version 85, which is scheduled to roll out in February 2026. The issue will be resolved for end users once they update to the new OS version.
